Question: Who or what is behind Germantown Times?

    Answer: Me, Arthur Schiff.

I care enough about Germantown to see the town lives up
to its promise. It is beautiful, the people are nice, it sits on
the Hudson River, all worth the effort! Also, it accepts our
tax payments. That makes it important that I and every
citizen have a say in how the money is spent.
Question: What is the purpose of Germantown Times?

Answer: To inform the people of Germantown about what
is going on. To have the people of Germantown tell us what
    is going on.

To provide a place where we can exchange information,
ideas and news. To sound off and pay compliments. To talk
about the government, the school, the library, the fire
house and the businesses in town.

To use the Internet as a tool of communication.
Question: How often should I visit Germantown Times?

Answer: Often. We will be adding to and subtracting from
the site frequently, if not on a rigid (I was going to say
    airline) schedule.

Question: Do I have to sign my name?

Answer: We encourage but do not require your name.
However, we will not publish unsigned communications
    that are personal.

Question: How do I send my comments in?

Answer: Go to Get in touch.
